Thank You

College life is really exciting. I met new friends and new teachers. One of them is Miss Relativo my teacher in Natsie. Through her i learned more about universe and etc.

Now that the semester is about to end, I want to say THANK YOU Miss for everything. For teaching as a lot of Lessons. Miss I hope you will continue your mission in this world as a teacher. Once again thank you so much And GOD bless us all.

The Origin of the Universe

The universe is commonly defined as the totality of everything that exists. But my question is did we know where the universe from?
As far back as recorded history goes, there have been two sets of opposing ideas, beliefs, theories, or teachings about the origin of the universe.
It has either existed eternally with no beginning or end, or it was created at some point in time and will eventually come to an end.

According to religious belief that universe was created by GOD. But because that man did not contented with this belief, man explore and discover or search about it.This is the reason that theories about universe came up.

By far the most popular theory in science today is the big bang theory, the idea that the universe came into existence at a certain point in time roughly 15 to 20 billion years ago. In the last 25 years this theory has moved to the forefront of cosmology.
Current interpretations of astronomical observations indicate that the age of the universe is 13.75 ± 0.17 billion years, and that the diameter of the observable universe is at least 93 billion light years or 8.80×1026 meters.According to general relativity, space can expand faster than the speed of light, although we can view only a small portion of the universe due to the limitation imposed by light speed. Since we cannot observe space beyond the limitations of light (or any electromagnetic radiation), it is uncertain whether the size of the universe is finite or infinite.
Now we know about the universe. But We must bear in mind that all of this depend on us.On what we believe and to whom we believe.

Planets in the Solar System

Solar system is composed of the sun and the heavenly bodies that revolved about it called the Planets.
Planet is the one of the non self-luminous bodies of the solar system revolving around the sun as their center of motion. Long time ago there are 9 planets namely; Mercury,Venus,Earth,Mars,Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus,Neptune and Pluto. But now Pluto is considered as the dwarf planet.Pluto was discovered in 1930.
Those within the earth's orbit,Mercury and Venus are called inferior planets:those asteroids or planetoids(known as collectively as minor planets),Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus and Neptune.

Mercury is the planet that is nearest to the sun, from which its mean distance is about 36000000 miles. It is the smallest of the major planets, having a diameter of about 3000 miles and revolving the sun about 88 of our days.

The second one is Venus, the most brilliant object in the heavens except the sun and the moon. It moves in an orbit between those of Mercury and Earth at a mean distance from the sun of about 67 000000 miles, completing a revolution in 224.7 days. Its diameter is about 7700 miles and it has no satellites.

The third one is our very own planet. No other then the Earth. It is the fifth planet in order of size among the planets. It has an area of 196400000 mile squared, a mass of 657 sextillion tons,a mean diameter of 7918 miles and a mean solar diameter of 93000000miles. It has only one satellite called the moon.

The forth one is Mars with a distance of 141500000 miles, its least distance from the Earth being about 35000000 miles. Mars has two satellites,a diameter of 4230 miles, a diurnal rotation of 24 hours, 37 minutes, 22.67 seconds, and a year of 686.9 days.

The fifth one is Jupiter with a distance of 483000000 miles . It is the biggest planet in the solar system, with a diameter of 87000 miles. It revolved around the sun with in 12 years, And it has 12 satellites.

The planet next beyond Jupiter and next Jupiter in size is Saturn. Remarkable for its satellites and its flat, luminous encircling ring. In astrology it was regarded as a melancholy planet.

The seventh planet from the sun is Uranus with a mean distance of 1781000000 miles, its sidereal period about 84 terrestrial years, and its diameter about 29600 miles. It has four satellites.

And the last one is Neptune. It is discovered by Galle of Berlin in 1846. Its mean distance from the sun is 2793000000 miles:period of revolution about 165 years:diameter about 27700 miles. It has two satellites.

Our solar system is really wonderful;. And we live here in planet Earth. Earth is wonderful. And we must take care of it so that it will stay wonderful.
