Thank You

College life is really exciting. I met new friends and new teachers. One of them is Miss Relativo my teacher in Natsie. Through her i learned more about universe and etc.

Now that the semester is about to end, I want to say THANK YOU Miss for everything. For teaching as a lot of Lessons. Miss I hope you will continue your mission in this world as a teacher. Once again thank you so much And GOD bless us all.

The Origin of the Universe

The universe is commonly defined as the totality of everything that exists. But my question is did we know where the universe from?
As far back as recorded history goes, there have been two sets of opposing ideas, beliefs, theories, or teachings about the origin of the universe.
It has either existed eternally with no beginning or end, or it was created at some point in time and will eventually come to an end.

According to religious belief that universe was created by GOD. But because that man did not contented with this belief, man explore and discover or search about it.This is the reason that theories about universe came up.

By far the most popular theory in science today is the big bang theory, the idea that the universe came into existence at a certain point in time roughly 15 to 20 billion years ago. In the last 25 years this theory has moved to the forefront of cosmology.
Current interpretations of astronomical observations indicate that the age of the universe is 13.75 ± 0.17 billion years, and that the diameter of the observable universe is at least 93 billion light years or 8.80×1026 meters.According to general relativity, space can expand faster than the speed of light, although we can view only a small portion of the universe due to the limitation imposed by light speed. Since we cannot observe space beyond the limitations of light (or any electromagnetic radiation), it is uncertain whether the size of the universe is finite or infinite.
Now we know about the universe. But We must bear in mind that all of this depend on us.On what we believe and to whom we believe.

Planets in the Solar System

Solar system is composed of the sun and the heavenly bodies that revolved about it called the Planets.
Planet is the one of the non self-luminous bodies of the solar system revolving around the sun as their center of motion. Long time ago there are 9 planets namely; Mercury,Venus,Earth,Mars,Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus,Neptune and Pluto. But now Pluto is considered as the dwarf planet.Pluto was discovered in 1930.
Those within the earth's orbit,Mercury and Venus are called inferior planets:those asteroids or planetoids(known as collectively as minor planets),Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus and Neptune.

Mercury is the planet that is nearest to the sun, from which its mean distance is about 36000000 miles. It is the smallest of the major planets, having a diameter of about 3000 miles and revolving the sun about 88 of our days.

The second one is Venus, the most brilliant object in the heavens except the sun and the moon. It moves in an orbit between those of Mercury and Earth at a mean distance from the sun of about 67 000000 miles, completing a revolution in 224.7 days. Its diameter is about 7700 miles and it has no satellites.

The third one is our very own planet. No other then the Earth. It is the fifth planet in order of size among the planets. It has an area of 196400000 mile squared, a mass of 657 sextillion tons,a mean diameter of 7918 miles and a mean solar diameter of 93000000miles. It has only one satellite called the moon.

The forth one is Mars with a distance of 141500000 miles, its least distance from the Earth being about 35000000 miles. Mars has two satellites,a diameter of 4230 miles, a diurnal rotation of 24 hours, 37 minutes, 22.67 seconds, and a year of 686.9 days.

The fifth one is Jupiter with a distance of 483000000 miles . It is the biggest planet in the solar system, with a diameter of 87000 miles. It revolved around the sun with in 12 years, And it has 12 satellites.

The planet next beyond Jupiter and next Jupiter in size is Saturn. Remarkable for its satellites and its flat, luminous encircling ring. In astrology it was regarded as a melancholy planet.

The seventh planet from the sun is Uranus with a mean distance of 1781000000 miles, its sidereal period about 84 terrestrial years, and its diameter about 29600 miles. It has four satellites.

And the last one is Neptune. It is discovered by Galle of Berlin in 1846. Its mean distance from the sun is 2793000000 miles:period of revolution about 165 years:diameter about 27700 miles. It has two satellites.

Our solar system is really wonderful;. And we live here in planet Earth. Earth is wonderful. And we must take care of it so that it will stay wonderful.

Weather and Climate in the Philippines

Weather talks about the atmosphere,to the degree that it is hot or cold, wet or dry, calm or stormy, clear or cloudy. And climate encompasses the statistics of temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind, rainfall, atmospheric particle count and other meteorological elemental measurements in a given region over long periods.
In the Philippines there are two very different climate zones. In the coastal and lowland areas there's a typically tropical marine climate: hot and humid throughout most of the year. However, most of the year constant sea breezes temper the climate somewhat except during the dry summer months from March to the end of May.

During summer, a lot of foreigner visit our country. They love the atmosphere of our country. Not only foreigner but also Filipino are very busy in there vacation and in there outing or bonding with there family.A lot of us went to Boracay.Summer is one of the wonderful season in Filipino's life.

In the Philippines their are two main seasons, wet and dry; the dry season from mid-November to mid-May and wet season from November to the end of February.
And we must take care our mother earth so that the wonderful weather and climate will stay here in our country. We must keep our world green and clean.

Importance of Earth's Hydrosphere

We all know that only earth is the only planet that is able to support life. Earth is just the right distance from the sun to have temperature that are suitable for life to exist. Also, the Earth's atmosphere has exactly the right type of gases in the right amounts for life to survive. Our planet also has water on its surface, which something very unique. In fact, Earth is often called the "Blue Planet" because most of it is covered in water. This water bodies is made up of freshwater in river and lakes, the saltwater of the oceans and estuaries, groundwater and water vapor. Together , all of these water bodies are called the Hydrosphere.

Hydrosphere is very important in us. Like the seas, rivers, and etc. One of the source of food is seas or bodies of water. And we cannot live without water.Water also provides a habitat for many animals and plants to live.Humans also use water in a number of ways. Drinking water is obviously very important, but water is also used domestically(e.g. washing and cleaning) and in industry.Water can also be used to generate electricity through hydropower.
So we must love and take care the water. We must always clean the seas and all bodies of water so that water will produces a lot of benefits for us. And most of all we must thanks God for giving us water in order to live.
And we must always bear in mind that water is very important in keeping us alive.

Science and Technology

Advantages and Disadvantages of Science and Technology

Science is a systematized body of knowledge best on fact and actual experiment. And technology is the application of scientific principles.
We all know that science and technology provides a lot of benefits in our lives. Or we call this one as the advantages of science and technology.Through technology, our life became simpler. It helps us to organize our daily activities and it makes our job can be done faster. And also through science and technology we can easily communicate with other people. It can help us to know and understand other culture and society better.
Science and Technology can cure our diseases. And the most familiar technology is cellphone. For now you are not IN if you have no cellphone. Cellphone can help us to communicate with other people easier. You can express your feelings through cellphone.
Next familiar technology is internet. All students uses internet for their research and studies. It can also help us to communicate others. And also internet is very important in business. But my question is,"Are they really important in us? Is their any bad effects or disadvantages of science and technology? Actually yes, they are all important but they have bad effects or disadvantages of science and technology.
Science and technology can destroy our simple and healthy life. Sometimes, it affects our health and lifestyle. When technology fails, we are helpless because we'll too dependent on it. Like internet, we always uses internet for our research. We depend only on internet, we do not use our own intellect. We are human and we are better than internet. Not only internet but all technology. Because of technology, we became lazy, weak, and most of all dependent people.
We are all humans, we have knowledge better than technology. So we must act as a manager of technology not the technology as the manager of us.
Using technology is not bad, but we must control on using technology. So that we can prevent any bad effects. Love technology so that technology will love you. Do not abuse it. And do not forget that above all, GOD is the most powerful. Even though you have a lot of different technologies, but, it will be useless if you do not believe in GOD, because GOD is our FATHER and our true BEST FRIEND FOREVER.
